NEVER QUIT SKIING

Welcome to Never Quit Skiing, an east coast ski blog. My name is Lincoln Riddle and I’m a skier who lives in northern New York. While I skied a few times as a kid, my ski career really only started 5 winters ago. Now I ski as much as possible, averaging more than 80 days on the mountain each season. This past winter I skied 136 days.

Skiing has become my passion and over the last few years I’ve shared photos, videos and a short summary of every single ski day on Twitter, Instagram stories and on the Facebook group ‘Whiteface Conditions’. Due to the limitations of characters on Twitter posts (it will always be Twitter, BTW), my summaries of each ski day have always been brief, but often times there’s much more to be said and shared, which is why I created the Never Quit Skiing blog.

Once the ski season begins you can expect a post about every single ski day on this blog, complete with photos. The off-season won’t be nearly as busy, but I’ll still be posting a few times here and there. My hope with this blog is that I can share conditions at the ski areas I’m skiing, allowing readers to make informed decisions about where to ski, provide some entertainment and just in general share my passion and stoke for skiing.

I primarily ski at Whiteface Ski Area, where I’m a pass holder, but this winter I’ve also added a Jay Peak season pass to my roster. On top of that, I’ve got an Ikon Session Pack, a Smuggler’s Notch Bash Badge and an Epic multi-day pass. You’ll also catch me on the slopes this winter at places like Sommet Saint-Sauveur in Quebec and Bolton Valley in Vermont. All of this to say, I don’t just ski at one place and each winter I look to visit new mountains that I’ve never skied before. Cannon Mountain and Mad River Glen are high on my list for next season!

Lastly, ‘Never Quit Skiing’ is my motto and it’s a way of life, which makes it the perfect name for this blog, after all, life’s too short not to ski as much as possible.
